^ John has annually shared
his duck hunting expertise with outdoor writer Wade
Bourne for Ducks Unlimited Magazine. Deep Fork
Retrievers was also featured in a three-part series on
hunting retriever training in the Daily Oklahoman,
the state’s largest newspaper. Deep Fork Retrievers has
been featured on Outdoors Oklahoma five times due
to the record number of viewer requests for our insight
into training hunting retrievers. We were also
featured in the premier episode of The World of Dogs,
an award-winning television show currently airing on PBS
channels in the U.S. and Europe. This past year,
we arranged a hunting segment for the National Rifle
Association that appeared on The Today Show.
Other television appearances include On The Water In
the Woods with Cody and Cody and WomenHunters
Outdoors on the Sportsman channel.
Radio listeners have enjoyed our expertise
on retriever training on Field and Stream,
ESPN, Advantage Outdoor, and Hunt
Sleep Fish Radio.

been featured in two books on training, "Hey
Pup - Fetch It Up" by Bill Tarrant and on
