WELCOME HUNTERS
Deep Fork Retrievers is
Oklahoma’s oldest and largest hunting retriever kennel.
For over 25 years, our training and breeding programs
have supplied duck hunters with eager, well-mannered
Labrador Retrievers that are a pleasure to hunt with.
Owners John and Beth Ann Amico are nationally known gun
dog trainers and breeders and members of the
Professional Retriever Trainers Association (PRTA). |

FACILITIES
Our state-of-the-art kennels are veterinarian-designed for the optimum
health, safety and comfort of our client’s dogs. Extensive training
grounds offer a variety of habitat and realistic hunting scenarios for
the complete waterfowl and upland gun dog or hunt test competitor. |

TRAINING
Deep Fork’s comprehensive in-kennel
training programs
emphasize owner/handler involvement. These programs
cover all phases of retriever training, including
puppy
head start, obedience, conditioned retrieve, marking,
multiple retrieves and handling. Individual training
classes are also available. |

SEMINARS
Throughout the year, we are invited to present our retriever
training seminars for Cabela’s, Bass Pro, and Sportsman’s Warehouse,
along with other major retailers and hunting expos.

PUPPIES
We breed only field pedigree chocolate, yellow and black
Labrador Retriever puppies. Potential training
prospects are bred out of AKC, UKC and NAHRA titled
studs and bitches with OFA and CERF
certifications. The result is lab pups which have
extreme desire, love of water, trainability and
excellent conformation. Before each hunting
season, we also offer a limited number of started
through finished dogs for sale. |
